b. This system shall be able to provide AST using a miniaturized version of the micro-broth doubling dilution technique (or microdilution) with a 136 micro-well testing panel containing dried reagents.
c. This system shall utilize a colorimetric redox indicator for quantitative determination of antimicrobial susceptibility by minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) and a variety of colorimetric and fluorometric indicators for bacterial ID.
d. This system shall provide a combination panel which includes a 51 well ID side with dried biochemical substrates for bacterial identification, an 85 well AST side with varying concentrations of antimicrobial agents.
e. This system shall include growth and fluorescent controls for quality control measurement of bacterial ID and AST at appropriate well locations on panel.
f. This system shall be able to connect to an analyzer Auto Processor.
2. The system shall be able to interface with Bruker MALDI MS instrument.
3. Contractor shall be able to provide computer hardware and data analysis software which are fully integrated with instrument to provide real-time data access and analysis tools.
