2.01MEXA Test ReportVerify that The MEXA Test Report is in the documentation book.
2.02MEXA Bench Gas System Pressure CheckVerify span/calibration gasses pressure within MEXA bench spec. 100 +/- 10 kPa
2.03Gas Line Leak CheckClose the cylinder valves for all gases feeding the MEXA. Observe any decay in the primary bottle pressure. Limit is 20 +/- 1 psi over 8 hours
2.04Bench and Analyzer Set-UpSet all sample flows, pressures, and TCS settings. Validate refrigeration operation, MCU functions, and responses. Perform amp zeros and amp gains on analyzers as necessary. Ensure MCU parameters are entered properly.
2.05Analyzer LinearizationAccuracy = The lesser of 2% of Point or 1% Full-scale Mid-span accuracy is the same.
2.06NOx Efficiency TestRun one successful NOx Eff. Test on each bench with NOx range < 1000 ppm.

- Modal Bench >95%

- Bag Bench >95%

- All benches NO2 limit -1 to +5% of label.

2.07CO2 Interference TestRun one successful interference test on lowest CO(L) or CO(LE) range. Use low concentration CO2 (1-3%) for bag bench and high concentration CO2 (15-20%) for modal bench. The target concentrations should be set to approximately 0.5 ppm.
2.08CLA Quench Check - CO2 QuenchApplicable to diesel regulations. Executing this function from the MCU measures the response of the NOx analyzer to CO2. Set the gas divider so that the CO2 concentration of the CO2/NOx mixture is approximately 10%. Select from two different calculations; On-Road or Off-Road. Maximum allowable result is 2% of full scale.
2.09CLA Quench Check - H2O QuenchApplicable to diesel regulations. Executing this function from the MCU measures the response of the NOx analyzer to wet NO span gas. Maximum allowable result is 3%.

2.11FIA Analyzer ResponseThe FIA analyzer response data is documented in the MEXA test report. FID response to various hydrocarbons can be measured by executing the HC Relative Resp. function under Checks/Tests.
