About this file

This is a solicitation for the procurement of an Amphibious Style Bridge / Ferry System for Wet Gap Crossing. The Army Contracting Command - Detroit Arsenal intends to award a sole source contract to General Dynamics European Land Systems to provide four vehicle systems, initial spares, Basic Issue Items, Special Tools and Test Equipment, technical publications in English and Latvian, and operator and maintainer training in Germany for ten students. The proposed contract action is being solicited under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) as the supplies are deemed to only be available from the original source due to substantial duplication of costs that would not be recovered through competition for a follow-on contract involving continued development or production of major system equipment.
