These methods of evaluation may include the use of information/input from sources such as (but not limited to) other U.S. Government agencies and personnel. However, the Government reserves the right to request data other than certified cost or pricing data from the offeror that is adequate to determine the reasonableness of an offer (See FAR 15.403-3).

c. Unbalanced Pricing: as part of the evaluation, quotes may be reviewed to identify any significant unbalanced pricing found between Ordering Periods. In accordance with FAR 15.404-1(g), i.e., unbalanced Pricing, a quote may be rejected if the Contracting Officer determines the lack of balance poses an unacceptable risk to the U.S. Government.

d. The Total Evaluated Price will be derived from the Pricing Matrix (Attachment 0001) and will be calculated as follows:

i. Price Matrix (Attachment 0001) - For each quote, the U.S. Government will calculate a Weighted Ordering Period Price by multiplying the proposed unit price for each quantity range by their respective weight and maximum quantity for all five Ordering Periods. The Total Evaluated Price is the sum of all Weighted Ordering Period Price.

e. If an offeror fails to submit unit prices for all quantity ranges for all five Ordering Periods, its quote may be considered unacceptable and the U.S. Government may reject the quote.
