Scope This qualifying statement covers the information and requirements for this grit blaster.

System Features

· Blast Cabinet

· Wear resistant enclosure for blast cleaning and surface preparation for bombs up to 8 feet tall

· Collects the abrasive and contaminant for recycling through the reclaim system

· Fully cast lined

· Seals

· Contains blast media within the blast cabinet

· Each vestibule both entry and exit have 3 sets of externally removable finger seals and 2 sets of Urethane curtains

· Dual bucket elevator system

· Vertically conveys the abrasive and contaminants received from the blast cabinet screw conveyor

· Deposits the abrasive into the rotary screen to remove large debris and contaminates into a waste container

· Abrasive passes through the rotary screen and enters the air wash separator for final cleansing and removal of fines and broken down abrasive material

· Abrasive is then discharged into the abrasive storage hopper for reuse

· Heavy duty shaft and bearing with shaft mounted direct drive

· Hollow bore reducer

· Reinforced four-ply elevator belt

· Cast malleable iron elevator buckets

· Airwash separator

· Receives used abrasive and fine contaminants passing from the rotary screen

· Curtain coupled with the vacuum from the dust collector removes dust, mill scale and small abrasive fines from the abrasive operating mix

· Waste particles fed to a refuse container at floor level

· Lighter contaminants and dust are pneumatically conveyed to the dust collector

· Accessible by the service platform

· Abrasive storage hopper

· Stores and provides a sufficient constant and consistent supply of abrasive to supply the blast wheels

· Equipped with a level sensor to automatically detect when abrasive is low

· Automatically actuates a valve in the abrasive adder hopper to meter new abrasive into the mix

· Abrasive feed pipes

· Provides a steady supply of abrasive media to the abrasive feed gates

· Blow off system

· Blows the dust, abrasive and scale off of the flat top of the bomb body

· Includes the hardware, duct, flex hose and mounting clamps and pipes

· Electrical control panel

· Allows the monitoring and control of the machine electrical and electro-mechanical components

· Motor starters and selector switches

· Hour meter for recording total blasting hours

· Fused mainline disconnect switch

· Individual ammeter for each blast wheel

· Line fuses and overload protection

· Pre-wired to terminal strip

· Control Panel Air Conditioner

· Dust collector

· Maintains a negative static pressure in the blasting cleaning system

· Provides ventilation and evacuation of dust from the blast cabinet

· Provides controlled velocity airflow through the airwash separator for removal of fine contaminants from the abrasive operating mix

· Designed for Standard Distance Ductwork runs (<75’)
