(End of clause)
52.0000-4528 REWORK AND REPAIR OF NONCONFORMING MATERIAL (MAY 1994)
(a) Rework and Repair are defined as follows:

(2) Repair - The reprocessing of nonconforming material in accordance with approved written procedures and operations to reduce, but not completely eliminate, the nonconformance. PRICE MATRIX GUIDANCE
ATTACHMENTS
ATTACHMENT 001: PRICE MATRIX SPREADSHEET
Offerors shall submit, with their offer, a completed Excel matrix to include pricing for all identified ranges to be considered for award. This IDIQ firm-fixed-price contract will be for three (3) years; orders will be funded and placed on an as needed basis. Vendors shall adhere to the delivery schedule as indicated in the solicitation. The complete pricing matrix will be incorporated into the award document and referenced as funded orders are placed.
(END OF ATTACHMENT)
EVALUATION CRITERIA--PRICE
1. The offeror will enter unit prices for all quantities and ordering periods for the one CLIN for Steel Shot on the Price Matrix Spreadsheet. All unit prices will be binding.
2. The Government reserves the right to require the submission of any data necessary to validate the reasonableness of an offer.
3. Government will evaluate offers based on prices proposed for the one CLIN and any other price related factors required by the solicitation.
a. For each proposal, the Government will calculate a Weighted Evaluation Price by multiplying the proposed unit prices for each range by their respective weight and maximum quantity, and summing their totals for each ordering period. The weight associated with each range represents the likelihood that an order, if placed, would be placed within that range.
b. The Total Evaluated CLIN Price is the sum of the Weighted Evaluation Prices for each ordering period and any other price related factors required by the solicitation.
4. If an offeror fails to submit unit prices for all quantity ranges and ordering periods for the CLIN, its proposal may be considered unacceptable and the Government may reject the proposal.
5. Price Analysis shall be used to determine price reasonableness. Additional analysis techniques may be used as determined necessary by the Procuring Contracting Officer. These methods of evaluation may include the use of information/input from sources such as (but not limited to) other Government agencies and personnel.
6. As part of the evaluation, proposals may be reviewed to identify any significant unbalanced pricing found between quantity ranges.
