Vendor Questions (22 & 23 July)
Q, The PWS does not provide a number of units required for the project. Can you tell me how many units are needed for Studio, I, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments?
A. We require a total of 14 bedrooms and each bedroom must have a locking door. See Performance Work Statement (PWS) section 4.0 for requirements.
Q. As per PWS, Government is looking to utilize 14 rooms for 8 months and 2‐1 year options to extend. If an extended stay hotel with full kitchen facility offering 2 bedroom suites then 7 of the units will be enough, am I correct?
A. Correct, as long as the units meet the requirements listed in the PWS section 4.0 and 5.0.
Q. Out of the 8-12 rooms required per night, how many of the rooms need to be 1 bed, 2 bed and 3 bed?
A. Requirement is for a total of 14 bedrooms with locking door and units meet the requirements within the PWS. We do not have a requirement on how many of the units are 1 bed, 2 bed, or 3 bed.
Q. Will you accept a pull-out sofa as a 3rd bed?
A. No. We will not accept a pull out sofa as a bed.
Q. Is this solicitation a new requirement? If not, can you tell us which property you have been working with in the past?
A. No. W912LN-21-P-0008, Williston Inn Group, LLC
Q. I need clarification on the amount of people needing lodging. Am I correct to read it’s for 14ppl total during the POP but they can be housed in groups of three or less as long as everyone has their own bedroom unless it one person then a studio is fine.
A. Yes and offered unit configurations must meet the PWS section 4.0 & 5.0 requirements
Q. Do you have a date when this contract will be awarded?
A. Anticipated award date is on or about 30 August 2021
