Q: The SOW states to procure/install 24 strands of fiber for bldg. #172 and 24 strands for #350. How many pairs of fiber per core site?
A: Request is for 24 strands of fiber pulled from the primary buildings (#172 and #350) to each of the core buildings
Q: Can you provide the make and model of all the switches in each building to spec out the SFPs? Do they all match?
A: Switches have not been procured at this time and will be installed by the government at a later time.
Q: Are there enough SFP slots in each switch to land fiber?
A: Contractor will provide termination in patch panel only. Connections to SFP/Switches will be done by the government at a later time.
Q: By my count, the project will need a minimum of 20 SFPs to run 1 pair of fiber to each building. Is the contractor to provide the SFPs?
A: Contractor will provide termination in patch panel only. Connections to SFP/Switches will be done by the government at a later date.
Q: Is the contractor also to procure the patch panel for each building?
