Information Requested: (Include Specification Section and/or Drawing Number and Page if inquiring about a discrepancy)

1. The installation facility standard was listed as an included document on the solicitation package, will it be provided ? Will the siding and roofing material spec sections identify acceptable products / basis for design. Yes, but no roofing, siding, or window material will be listed. Material for this project is identified in SOW.

2. Does new wood framing and sheathing at repair areas need to be fire rated? (no)

3. Has a hazmat survey been done on the roofing or underlayment, or on the drywall or drywall mud, the age of the structure would make it suspect, Should prime contractors include hazmat survey in their bids ? Yes, attached is the latest asbestos report)

4. If water intrusion has created mold in the existing walls will this be treated as an unforeseen site condition since no siding has been removed for inspection. (No, the walls are to be reframed as needed for the windows and when being demoed should be just properly disposed of.)

5. On the interior there is wall covering, this wall covering will be extremely difficult to match, is new wall covering required at repaired areas? (Wall covering does not need to be matched, wall covering is to be removed on entire wall, wall is to be drywall sanded and painted dove white.)

6. Existing shingles are dimensional. The specified shingles are 3-tab shingles. Are (3-tab shingles the correct spec? (Yes 3 tab shingles are correct)

7. What is the requested thickness of the vinyl siding? (.0035 inches or thicker.)

8. Are we to remove or retain the architecture design above the doors and windows? (Remove architectural design)

9. Will a ridge vent be acceptable instead of the aluminum vents? (Ridge vents are acceptable if the sofit is vented as well.)

10. Are the existing 3’x3’ windows to remain or be replaced or be removed? (Correct 3x3 windows remain. The only windows to be removed and replaced are the windows that are in cluster of 4 on both long sides of the building, Windows being replaced can be vinyl. To be clear, each cluster of 4 will be removed and replaced by 1 window which dimensions are mentioned in SOW.

11. The exposed roof that needs repair was installed on top of a second layer roof. Please confirm that nothing needs done to the second layer of roofing. (Nothing needs done to the second layer of roofing)
