REQUEST FOR INFORMATION – RFI

10 December 2019

Solicitation Number: W50S8120R0002 / 104th FW Lodging BPA

Q: Volume II - Company Technical Capability Statement (PDF document that outlines your company's capabilities to successfully meet the scope of the Performance Work Statement). Are you able to provide some details on what needs to be specifically addressed in the performance work statement?

A: Volume II can be a generalized statement about your company. Examples could include: number of rooms, amenities you provide, how long you’ve been open for business, or anything you feel you want to note to show your ability to meet the needs of the requirement as listed in the PWS.

Q: I am trying to get to the opportunity - but the page is not loading. Any suggestions? I am in

Beta.SAM.gov under our login, but there are no opportunities for the hotel. If I search for an opportunity, what would I look under? When I do the 104th - lots of stuff comes up. Please advise.

A: From the home page, https://beta.sam.gov/ , change the pull down from All Award Data to Contract

Opportunities. Then type in 104th FW Lodging BPA in the search box. That should return only one result which is our solicitation.

Q: We actually just received an email for this from Logistics 365. Would I respond to them? They’re asking for a commission on top of the rate? They also are stating the bid is due today (06DEC19). So I hope the correct submission date is 12/18/19.

A: I cannot tell you how to respond to our solicitation. I can, however, tell you that are able to respond, free of charge, without using a 3rd party vendor. The bid is NOT due today (06DEC19). You have until

December 18th to review the solicitation and submit your bid. Directions on what is required can be found in the 5th paragraph of the solicitation. Please read the solicitation in its entirety to ensure you understand the requirement.

Q: Did I read that we are to submit an invoice for this group business?

A: Under this BPA, one invoice reflecting the total rooms that were reserved for that specific weekend would be submitted for payment. That invoice would reflect the total number of room and each person’s name with their room number. So, if twenty rooms were utilized at your facility on Friday and

15 on Saturday, you would submit one bill that invoices 20 rooms on Saturday and 15 for Sunday.
