Data Entry Requirements CORE System Data Entry
Details/Training will be provide after contract award Network Support System Data Entry
The Aircraft Schedule Alerting System (ASAS) will facilitate timely reaction and oversight to operational events and incidents and financial computation of the dedicated air transportation of mail process.
To facilitate this approach, suppliers are required to enter data for the events that are assigned to them via the CORE system; proposed and actual schedule changes in advance, and background notes in regard to operational decisions related to such changes.
The system will benefit suppliers by giving them rapid notification of upstream delays that have the potential to impact their own specific activities, and by providing the opportunity to promptly record background information that the USPS can use to ensure a timely payment process.
Suppliers are also required to review data in the system and enter notes against events to aid in the future resolution of performance measurement reconciliation. To be considered valid for consideration by the USPS, such information must be entered in the system within 24-hours.
Certain data, such as aircraft types, tail numbers, schedules, contact details, etc., will need to be entered into the system prior to commencement of operations.
The supplier must designate a key contact person(s) to act as a liaison between CORE and the supplier's end users, including subcontractors. The contact person(s) will be responsible for overseeing the event updates, and training internal users responsible for the event updates in the case that the users are unable to attend the initial CORE training.
Training and documentation will be provided to supplier staff by CORE Transport Technologies (“CORE”) via the internet. Customer support will be available 24 / 7. Information regarding the training will be forthcoming.
