Text version
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source purchase order on behalf of the United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) to iMotion, Inc. located in Boston Ma. 02111. under the authority as prescribed in FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), only one source is capable in satisfying agency requirements. This requirement iMotions® Research Software, EEG/EMGECG module subscriptions, and analysis license. Data monitoring and analysis software.
iMotion, Inc. is the only vendor to satisfy the Government’s requirement. There are no authorized resellers or distributors for iMotion Inc. products in the United States. The iMotions® software will enable researchers at USAARL to collect physiological data through up to 50 synchronized biosensors with a single system. The system also has built-in visualization tools allowing time-stamping, coding, and recording that can be exported to 3rd party programs (e.g., SPSS, Excel, MatLab). iMotions®. Current USAARL research plans to utilize several existing devices to capture EEG, EOG, ECG, EMG, and other physiological measures to predict operator state. Currently lacking is a program that enables this combination (and more) to be collected concurrently, in real-time, with a single machine (computer running iMotion software) that allows simple data synchronization and time-stamping during data collection. Acquiring the iMotion software will substantially reduce the required man hours required to analyze data, the number of dedicated computers to host the physiological data sensors, and will enable more accurate event time-stamping.
