PART 2 GENERAL
COMMON ISSUES THAT NEED CLARIFICATION
1. CRITICAL: A copper primary and a copper secondary coil is required.
Please clarify and address.
2. NEMA TR-1 Sound level compliance: Please specify if the "similar" transformer tested met the standard or not.
3. The offer does not address the barrier between the high voltage and low voltage sections nor does it address the doors very well. Please clarify.
4. The offer does not address the high voltage "parking stands with insulated bushings" or the caps.
5. The offer states in the general notes that "UL Listed" is stamped on the name plate, so it is metal of some sort. Can they mention the metal it is made from?
6. The offer does not mention the required "1 Inch Upper Fill Plug". I am sure there is one, but can they confirm?
7. The offer does not address the lift lug, jacking, rolling, or skidding provisions of the transformer.
8. The offer does not mention a grounding connection point/pad for either the high or low voltage compartment. Please clarify if this is provided or not.
Specifically for the 2000 KVA transformer, the offer provides a 10 hole spade secondary connection and specification requires 12. Due to recent developments in the application of the transformers in the overall project, we can accept the 10 hole capacity if the above items are addressed
