This is a Project Description document for the City of Culver City, California, detailing a comprehensive replacement and relocation of the dust and odor control misting system at the municipal Transfer Station. The project requires a complete turnkey solution designed specifically for municipal solid waste transfer station operations to suppress airborne dust and mitigate odors generated during unloading, handling, and transfer of municipal solid waste, recyclable materials, and organic materials. The scope of work encompasses evaluation of existing conditions, system design and engineering, removal and disposal of the existing misting system, relocation of pump assemblies and controls to a protected location, furnishing and installation of a new industrial-grade high-pressure misting system, chemical injection system for odor control, installation of tubing, piping, fittings, manifolds, supports and nozzles, integration of controls and zoning capabilities, startup and testing, and commissioning.
