0001 ECrimes - EMAILCHEMY software.
Emailchemy is used extensively by CI's Apple Cadre and many of the other forensic specialists to convert seized email stores into other formats so user agents and attorneys can read vast quantities of email in criminal cases. CI seizes or informants turn over many email types besides Outlook. Emailchemy is a forensic tool used off-line on non-network boxes. Emailchemy converts email from the closed, proprietary file formats of the most popular (and many of yesterday's forgotten) email applications to standard, portable formats that any application can use. These standard formats are ideal for long term archival, database entry, or forensic analysis and eDiscovery. CI uses this product for forensic analysis and discovery purposes. It is the best product on the market for handling email formats.
