About this file
This document is a technical specification for the procurement of High Temperature Superconductor (HTS) REBCO tape. The specification outlines the requirements for the tape, including conductor name, width, substrate thickness, copper plate stabilizer, minimum critical current, total length, and minimum piece length. It also includes requirements for "face to face" REBCO tape, which involves two REBCO tapes stacked and soldered together.
The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation, number RFP-362961-CMR, issued by the Department of Energy Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The RFP requests companies to provide a quote in addition to the RFP document, which lists the specifications for the items being quoted.
