About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the disassembly and preparation of material handling equipment at DLA Distribution Cherry Point, North Carolina. The work involves disassembling and palletizing two Raymond model SB-CSR30T Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Turret Forklifts currently located in Building 145. These forklifts are no longer in service and have been deemed too costly to repair. The period of performance runs from March 23, 2026, through April 11, 2026.

The contractor is required to perform three primary tasks: disassemble and palletize the turret forklifts for over-the-road transport; palletize the batteries separately for hazmat disposal; and provide rental units and cartage services to stand up or lay down the masts. The Contracting Officer (KO) or designee will monitor performance through Government inspections and review to ensure compliance with the PWS requirements. The KO or designee is designated as the point of final inspection and acceptance. Work performance must minimize impact on routine distribution functions. Vendor quotes have been attached to support the requirement.
