The project scope includes procuring and installing sixteen Axis Q6325-LE pan-tilt-zoom cameras with associated equipment in Utility Tunnels 2 and 3, along with comprehensive installation and commissioning services.

The contractor must furnish sixteen PTZ cameras, wall or ceiling mounts, sixteen CommScope 2-port POE Extenders (P/N PFU-P-C-O-060-02), thirty-two Cisco GLC-LH-SMD Compatible optical transceiver modules, and 25,000 feet of CommScope Hybrid powered fiber optic cable (P/N PFC-S12L12). Installation responsibilities include field verification of camera locations, mounting equipment, installing J-hooks and cable pathways throughout the Steam Plant, running and splicing fiber optic cables to all sixteen locations, terminating copper DC power conductors, installing CAT6 patch cords, performing 64 pigtail fusion splices in the server cabinet, testing all 64 fibers using a Fluke OTDR, and providing camera startup and configuration. The place of performance is NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, with a period of performance of twelve months from contract award. The contractor must possess AXIS Channel Partner status, hold AXIS Certified Professional, BICSI Technician-Level, and Fluke Networks certifications; maintain current confined space and general construction safety training; hold a Virginia Journeyman's electrical license; and have experience with core-drilling operations, Emerson DeltaV Control Systems, and working in hazardous confined spaces. A minimum one-year warranty covering parts and labor with an 8-hour response time is required, commencing upon system completion and commissioning.

3.2.4. Furnish and install one (1) CommScope hybrid fiber optic cable, P/N# PFC-S12L12 from the new server cabinet, through the Steam Plant (via J-hooks), through the utility tunnel (via existing fiber rings and bundles), and out to each of the sixteen (16) PTZ camera locations. 25,000 FT

3.2.5. Perform a fusion splice of each strand of fiber (48 fusion splices total 4 per location) inside each of the sixteen (16) POE Extenders.

3.2.6. Terminate the two #12 AWG copper DC power conductors at each of the sixteen (16) POE Extenders.

3.2.7. Furnish and install one (1) OSP shielded CAT6 patch cord from the POE Extender to the PTZ camera at each of the sixteen (16) camera locations.

3.2.8. Inside the existing server cabinet, perform 64 pigtail fusion splices (4 strands of OS2 fiber per cable x 16 cables), thus terminating all 16 hybrid cables to the back-side of the existing fiber patch panel.

3.2.9. Test and certify all 64 fibers (four per location) using a Fluke OTDR. Provide test reports to NASA.

3.2.10. Furnish and install 16 fiber patch cables from the existing fiber patch panel down to the existing Cisco fiber switch.

3.2.11. Terminate all 32 #12 AWG copper DC power conductors (2 per cable @ 16 cables) to the back-side of the existing DC power distribution racks.

3.2.12. Provide startup and configuration of all 16 cameras.
