About this file

This memorandum documents a sole source justification for a maintenance services contract for a Stryker endoscopy system. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West will award a fixed price contract to Stryker Sales, LLC for preventative maintenance of government-owned Stryker endoscopy equipment at Evans Army Community Hospital. The services will cover inspection, testing, repair and replacement of parts for the system and its components. The contract period is from December 6, 2023 to December 5, 2024. The justification cites FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) on limiting competition below the simplified acquisition threshold, indicating Stryker is the original equipment manufacturer and sole supplier of parts and services. Market research found no other authorized vendors. The related solicitation is for maintenance of the Stryker endoscopy equipment with the Department of the Army Medical Command as the issuing agency.
