About this file
This is a Builder's Risk Insurance exhibit document for the County of Alameda, General Services Agency's rolling gate installation project at 5325 Broder Boulevard, Dublin, California (Bid No. 902825). The document outlines the insurance requirements and risk management protocols that the contractor must implement throughout the construction phase of this full turnkey project. The exhibit specifies the contractor's obligations regarding builder's risk coverage, including the scope of protection required, coverage limits, policy requirements, and the allocation of insurance responsibilities between the contractor and the County to ensure adequate protection of all project assets and materials during the installation work.
The builder's risk insurance requirements establish the minimum coverage standards the contractor must maintain, including protection against property damage, theft, and other construction-related risks. The insurance policy must name the County of Alameda as an additional insured and loss payee, and the contractor is responsible for maintaining continuous coverage from the project start through substantial completion. The exhibit defines exclusions, deductibles, and specific coverage provisions applicable to the rolling gate installation work, ensuring that all materials, equipment, and completed work are protected against unforeseen losses during the construction period.
