LOCKER SYSTEM
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)
1.0 BACKGROUND
The requiring activity is the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Unmanned & Expeditionary Weapon Systems Division (NSWCDD Code H) Weapon Control Hardware (NSWCDD Code H44), Battle Management Systems (BMS) program. BMS requires vendor shipping, assembling and installing the lockers at the
NSWCDD.
2.0 APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS
2.1 Locker Requirements List;
2.2 Center for Disease Control (CDC) COVID-19 Guidelines
3.0 REQUIREMENTS
3.1 The Vendor shall participate in a site visit in order to
provide a quote for a locker system in accordance with (IAW) the attached Locker Requirements List. The quote shall include installation criteria that clearly defines any supplemental work and site preparation to be executed before installation takes place. The vendor shall take into consideration existing conditions such as position of overhead lighting, electrical/mechanical systems, fire suppression systems and structural building constraints.
3.1.1 The vendor shall provide manufacturing design specification drawings; a scaled floor plan of the specified cabinets laid out in the proposed space; and detail drawings, including isometric renderings, showing proposed cabinet components and their configurations as part of the quote.
NOTE: Drawings must be submitted in both CAD .dwg format and as a
PDF.
3.2 Once the order is placed, the Vendor shall provide and
transport required tooling for proper installation of the equipment.
3.3 The Vendor shall provide a minimum of two (2) Senior Engineers and two (2) Engineers to travel to Dahlgren, VA for one (1) day to support system installation.
3.4 The Vendor shall provide each vendor employee with the personal protective equipment required to do their job safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
3.4.1 All Vendor personnel shall maintain social distancing and wear a facemask at all times while onsite at the NSWCDD base until notified otherwise by the government.
3.5 The Vendor shall be responsible for removal and disposal of all installation related debris and shipping materials.
3.6 The Vendor shall contact the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) at the time of system delivery to coordinate installation activities.
3.7 The Vendor shall complete the installation within 30 days of delivery of the materials.
4.0 GOVERNMENT FURNISHED INFORMATION (GFI)
The Government will coordinate access to the NSWCDD to complete this work.
5.0 SECURITY
The work to be performed for this effort is unclassified.
6.0 TRAVEL
The contractor will be required to travel in performance of this contract. The number of trips and types of personnel traveling shall be limited to the minimum required to accomplish work requirements and shall be coordinated with the technical point of contact. All travel shall be conducted in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). The following travel is anticipated:
