05/17/2021 Site Visit Questions & Answers
1. Will the government clear the space?
Answer: Yes
2. Will the install be required during a work week or a weekend?
Answer: Install will be during a regular work week and time will be specified at a later date with the Technical Point of Contact as specified by the SOW.
3. Can the lockers be bolted to the wall?
Answer: No, but if necessary they can be bolted to the floor. Please refer to requirements list specifically section (A) which states, “Lockers shall be mounted to mobile carriages that run on a track that is nominally anchored to the floor.”
4. Do all lockers require plugins?
Answer: Yes end lockers do require plugins. Please refer to section (D) of the requirements list which states, “The lockers installed at the ends of the length of the installation shall be fixed and immobile. In addition, each of the end lockers shall be provided with four (4) duplex receptacle electrical knockouts. At a minimum, two (2) knockouts shall be provided located on top of the locker in both right and left rear corners.”
5. Do you want the lockers to stand off from the outlets?
Answer: Yes, lockers are to be off of the wall to allow room for current wiring/ electrical in place. However, the outlets behind the lockers do not need to be accessible once system is installed.
