Statement of Work for 3500XL Genetic Analyzer
Maintenance and Service Agreement
Annual Planned Maintenance is a procedure designed to protect the operational performance of the 3500xL Genetic Analyzer. All service and maintenance must be provided by a Thermo
Fisher Scientific trained and qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE). The FSE must maintain certified qualifications throughout the life of the contract.
The FSE will obtain all parts and tools needed to complete the service. Must provide and wear all appropriate personal protective equipment. Must verify the serial number and contract confirmation.
The FSE must complete, review with the customer, and sign a Planned Maintenance Checklist at the completion of the service call.
FSE fees and travel expenses will be included in the cost of this contract. Travel expenses will cover one (1) on-site visit for planned maintenance per contract year. Technical assistance and support must be available during business hours via telephone or email, with a response time of no more than two (2) hours.
Planned maintenance procedures
Any deviations from this procedure, plus any parts used in addition to the parts listed below, must be noted on an accompanying service report. Any parts that may need replacement will be discussed prior to replacement to ensure coverage under this service contract, a Thermo Fisher
Scientific Service Contract or warranty, or if it is billable to the customer.
