About this file
This document is a Cost Proposal (Part 5) for a state drug testing and alcohol screening contract, detailing pricing for various specimen collection and testing services. The proposal covers in-state and out-of-state five-panel drug tests, including direct observation, transportation, storage, analysis, confirmation testing, Medical Review Officer (MRO) review, sample disposal, and electronic result transfer. Additional services include non-DOT drug testing with alternative testing methods like oral swabs, breath alcohol testing, and expert witness testimony.
The cost proposal outlines specific pricing per specimen and test, with an in-state five-panel drug test priced at $12,000 annually, out-of-state five-panel drug tests at $100 per specimen, breath alcohol testing at $700 per test, and a $1 hourly rate for expert witness testimony. The state will not reimburse additional expenses for travel or related costs, and vendors must submit all pricing in U.S. Dollars. The pricing structure suggests a comprehensive drug and alcohol testing service contract with fixed annual rates for various testing scenarios and locations.
