The Contractor shall be responsible for all obsolescence/DMS occurring during the period of performance of this contract. The Contractor shall notify the Government within 10 business days of discovery, if it is determined that a product, material, or component required in the delivery of the ruggedized faceplate is unavailable due to obsolescence.

The Government is procuring a Cover, Electrical Connector , NSN 5935-01-619-9911, P/N 5-230-003, for use to upgrade/convert an existingCover, Electrical Connector on the Control, Transmitter, Radar C-12720, Remote Control Unit (RCU) to a ruggedized compliant RCU. This component is an Electromagnetic Interface (EMI) shielded ruggedized faceplate. The RCU and associated EMI protected ruggedized faceplate is part of the AN/APX 123 Common Transponder (CXP) assembly. The previous Item name was “Cover, Electronic Assembly”.

The Contractor shall produce, test and deliver the items in the quantity set forth in the single delivery schedule in accordance with Technical Requirements, Contractor’s Technical Data Package and requirements for form, fit, and function and specialized testing herein. In the event of a conflict between the conditions of the Technical Requirements and any drawings for the item on contract, the conditions of theTechnical Requirements shall govern. Any changes or additions to the Technical Requirements that may be generated after award of contract will be negotiated and approved by the Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) and the contractor prior to work being started.
