Limited efforts were made to conduct market research since the Government has internal information that demonstrates the items are not competitive. Coordination with the DLA Aviation Small Business Office reveals that we have extensive history to support that these items have been and will continue to be sole source Honeywell items. A Sources Sought notice will be posted to FedBizOpps in order to improve competition. In addition, a synopsis will be issued on FedBizOpps as a Pre-Solicitation notice to advise industry of the pending procurement and solicit inquiries from interested parties.

It is anticipated that no source, other than Honeywell, would be interested in this procurement.
