CIELAB readings are provided as an informational tool only. The readings provided were taken using American Association Of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) Evaluation Procedure 6,(D65 /10 degree) unless a smaller aperture is needed for digital prints. It is recommended that suppliers take a reading of the standard shade sample provided by DLA Troop Support with their own Spectrophotometer. Due to different equipment models, different equipment condition, software, and calibration of equipment, readings taken by the ESA may differ from contractor readings, these readings are only one piece of information and are provided for information purposes only. Matching CIELAB readings as provided may or may not produce an acceptable match to the shade standard provided by DLA Troop Support. The CIELAB readings will not be used for shade acceptance evaluation. All shade acceptance evaluation will be based on Government visual shade evaluations only.
