QUESTION 1
SECTION - C.1.1 Employee and Dependent Health Services Benefits
a) Are prostheses, orthotics, osteosynthesis materials and other interventions covered under the
US$120.000?
If any of these items are provided and the treatment to provide them occurs while the participant is hospitalized, then yes the costs would be covered 100%, up to $120,000 USD. This would mean that any item placed via surgery (e.g. a stint, pacemaker, hip replacement) would be covered as surgery requires hospitalization. If the item or treatment occurs without hospitalization, the cost would not be covered under this contract.
