SP451010Q4016 QUESTION & ANSWERS
There was a typo on page 1 of the attachment on the SF1449, in Block 10 the size standard read $11,500.000.00 and it should read $11,500,000.00.
The following question was asked in reference to the size standard: Can you verify the amount that is allowed for this project? ANSWER: A size standard does not represent an amount allowed for a project, it is the largest that a concern can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs. For the most part, size standards are the average annual receipts or the average employment of a firm. How to calculate average annual receipts and average employment of a firm can be found in 13 CFR § 121.104 and 13 CFR § 121.106, respectively. In accordance with part 3.2 of the solicitation, “The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government in terms of price.”
Note: The Set Aside status in the general information section was blank when this solicitation posted on 05FEB2010. However, on 09FEB2010 an amendment was made to the general information section of this solicitation to update the Set Aside status to “Total Small Business” as initially stated on the SF1449.
