AMD 0005

I. The purpose of this amendment is to answer vendor questions.

II. The following vendor questions are answered.

Question 1: There is currently a new Duro-Last roof being installed on Warehouse 28. Could the DLA please advise who the roofing contractor is?

Answer 1: Subcontractor: Cool Roofing Owner: Jamie Billman (Jamie.Billman@cool-roofing.com)

(209) 456-3967 PM/Marketing - Craig Marker (craig@cool-roofing.com)

(209) 815-2225

Question 2: Does the Honeywell controller at each MAU communicate with the fire alarm control panel (FACP) by giving the FACP dry contact inputs for each alarm or does it send alarms to a Honeywell FACP via a data connection like RS-485?

Answer 2: Existing FACP is wired in a loop with all smoke detectors, air flow switches and filter pressure differential switches of all the MAUs tied in one single loop. Existing FACP is an addressable system. New PIDs will be required for all new smoke detectors, air flow switches and filter pressure differential switches. Contractor can use existing twisted pair connecting these devices to FACP. Each Honeywell thermostat communicates with its MAU control panel separately to control hot water valve and evap cooler. Contractor can use existing wires connecting thermostat and MAU control panel. Contractor must field verify all information.

Govt. shall not be responsible for any discrepancies found later on.

Question 3: I do not see any weight commentary. The notes say to match existing curb but nothing about weight. Also the typical drawing of MAU unit on drawing number 03 does not show the evaporative cooling section. Which enhances the weight concerns.

Answer 3: All existing units have evap cooling section. All new units shall have evap cooling section.

Question 4: The new request is for four inch wall construction. Was that the construction of the original units?

Answer 4: Contractor can field verify.

Question 5: Did the existing units have evaporative cooling?

Answer 5: Yes

Question 6: Is there a weight limit on these units.

Answer 6: All existing units are 2000 Kg other than MAU 4B which is 1500 Kg
