SP3300-16-B-0015
AMD 0001
I. The purpose of this amendment is answer vendor questions.
II. The following Vendor Questions are answered.
Question 1: Would you kindly confirm if this is an entirely new effort or is there an incumbent currently providing the services? If so, can you please provide the incumbent contract details?
Answer 1: This is a new effort.
Question 2: Will there be any equipment schedules provided in the plans for the AHU/roof ventilator units? Also, is there a basis of design for the equipment?
Answer 2: Appendix 8 of Attachment 1 - SOW is equipment schedule.
Performance based specification for all equipment is provided in SOW.
Question 3: Will the DLA please advise whom the existing HVAC DDC controls company/contractor is for the existing mechanical system?
Answer 3: HVAC work is done in-house by maintenance using wolverine Inc.
Some of the local contractors they use are:
(i)AMS Heating; Dean Saunders,209-466-6692 (ii) Lovotti Inc; Ryan Prudhel,209- 931-2100 (iii) Virginia Mechanical; Jeff Skelton,209-832-2966
Question 4: Will the DLA please advise whom the existing Fire Alarm contractor is at this Building?
Answer 4: Answer: Huston Fire Systems, P.O. Box 488, Lockeford, CA 95237, Cell (209)663-3428
Question 5: Are there any performance specs for the existing roof that will be provided?
Answer 5: Not Required.
Question 6: Are there any lightning protection plans or requirements included for this scope of work?
Answer 6: All new MAU and PRV must have lightening protection similar to existing MAU and PRV
Question 7: Will any protective gear be required for the site visit?
Answer 7: Safety Vest and hard hats are required for the site visit because the building is being re-roofed.
III. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
