About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the purchase of a Keyence WM 6000 Wide Area Coordinate Measurement Machine. The equipment is a multiprobe infrared scanning tool designed for the Rapid Prototyping Laboratory to perform high-resolution measurement and quality analysis of complex geometry parts and components. The machine enables the creation of digital models from part scans and provides quality comparison of printed components relative to their design specifications, with measurement accuracy to within 0.001 inches. The unit is portable and can be deployed to test stands for in-place component measurement in both laboratory and field environments.

The SOW does not specify response dates, award dates, pricing terms, set-asides, federal agencies, or contract vehicles. No additional technical specifications, delivery requirements, training requirements, or performance metrics are detailed in this document. The SOW consists solely of a high-level description of the equipment's capabilities and intended use.

SOW for Purchase of Keyence WM 6000 Wide Area Coordinate Measurement Machine

This equipment allows for rapid high resolution measurement of complex geometry parts and components. This will afford our new Rapid Prototyping Laboratory the ability to both create digital models from scans of parts and components and to perform quality analysis on printed components relative to their drawings. It’s essentially a multiprobe infrared scanning tool that will allow us to scan, measure, and compare to within 0.001 in components and systems in the lab and in the field. The unit is relatively portable and easy to take out to the test stands if components need to be measured in place.
