ENGINEERING SERVICE

STATEMENT OF WORK FOR
Air Systems Pumps and Compressors
Introduction and Background VHA NYHHS Brooklyn campus has purchased 7 ENDODRY scope drying and storage cabinets which requires instrument grade air.
Objective The VA NYHHS Engineering Service is requesting the purchase of 2 air compressors to deliver instrument grade air to 7 ENDODRY scope drying and storage cabinets.
Scope of Work and Specific Requirements The contractor is responsible for all materials, labor and supervision to accomplish the following:
1. The contractor shall provide 2 (two) air compressors with the following requirements:
a. Quality: ISO 8573-1:2010 minimum class 1.4.1, recommended class 1.2.1 Instrument Air (NFPA 99)
i. Particle Size: Incoming air filtered down to 1 micron in size
ii. Moisture Content: Minimum pressure dew point (PDP) of +3°C or better required and no liquid water, -40°C or better recommended
iii. Oil Content: < 0.01mg of oil per cubic meter of compressed air (liquid, aerosol or vapor oil)
b. Pressure: The below pressures are required at the point of cabinet connection.
The 1st compressor will be delivering air to five cabinets and the 2nd will be delivering air to two cabinets.
i. 29-145 psi (2-10 bar) per cabinet
c. Volume Flow: The below volume flows are required at the point of cabinet connection.
i. Max demand of 4.2 scfm (120 l/min ANR) per cabinet
2. The contractor shall deliver the compressors within 2 calendar weeks of contract award.
3. The Contractor is responsible for any damage during delivery. All damages shall be repaired and/or replaced at no additional cost to the government.
Place of Performance / Delivery All required equipment and materials are to be delivered to the warehouse/loading dock at the following location:

Period of Performance Delivery 2 weeks from date of contract award.
Acceptance Procedure The COR/POC will perform an inspection of materials upon delivery. No invoices will be processed for payment prior to the completion of POC inspection.
Warranty The contractor shall guarantee that all materials/products will be free from defects and meet the requirements specified above. The contract further guarantees that if the product fails, within 1 year of accepted delivery, due to manufacturer defects, any defective product will be repaired or replaced by the contractor.
