NOTICE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY.

Closing Date: 14 October 2020

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) requires precision grinding services be performed on a variety of government furnished materials (GFM), including high-yield carbon steel plates and pre-cut shapes and products. The finished materials shall be returned to:

The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332813.

The anticipated Period of Performance will span sixty (60) months beginning at the time of award with an ordering period of fifty-seven (57) months beginning at the time of award. It is anticipated that the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or around 28 October 2020 via beta.SAM, and a Firm-Fixed-Price BPA is anticipated.

It is requested that all interested Small Business concerns, including but not limited to

HUBZone, 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB), and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned

Small Businesses (SDVOSB), respond with a brief Capability Statement to be used to determine the availability of Small Business concerns for this requirement. Interested Small Business concerns shall address, as a minimum the following: (1) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), DUNS number, CAGE code and must identify their small business socio-economic categories; (2) Partnership agreements with any large businesses. Proprietary information, if any, should be minimized and MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED. To aid the

Government, please segregate proprietary information. Please be advised that submissions will not be returned.

The Capability Statement shall succinctly address all sections of the Performance Work

Statement (PWS).

Demonstrated ability to meet the requirements of the PWS may include citing and describing the same or similar relevant performance, but does not limit the interested Contractor’s approach to demonstrate capability.

NOTE: Only information provided in the written Capability Statement shall be considered.
