About this file
This justification document proposes a sole-source award to the American Heart Association for resuscitation training materials. The Bureau of Prisons' AHA Training Center requires various instructor packages, manuals, DVDs, and eCards from the AHA in order to conduct CPR certification training for Bureau employees and maintain compliance with AHA guidelines. As the AHA is the proprietary source of the required commercial off-the-shelf items, only the AHA can fulfill the Bureau's needs. The notice of intent to sole source was published in accordance with FAR. Provided the contracting officer determines the AHA's price to be fair and reasonable, award will be made for an unknown amount, as documented in the related opportunity listing a March 11, 2021 award date.
