The National Park Service, Abraham Lincoln

Birthplace National Historical Park (ABLI), will be contracting to install a fire suppression system and an intrusion detection system at the

ABLI Visitor Center/Administration Building, located at 2995 Lincoln Farm Road, Hodgenville, KY 42748 in accordance with the specifications, drawings, Davis Bacon Wage Determination

KY20200105, and terms and conditions.

This acquisition is a small business set-aside.

The NAICS code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and

Air-Conditioning Contractors - size standard

$16.5M

In accordance with FAR subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated between

$250,000 and $500,000

Type of Contract - Firm-Fixed Price Construction

This solicitation will result in a contract with a period of performance of 180 days. No onsite work shall begin prior to November 30, 2020. No legal liability on the part of the government for any payment may arise for performance under this contract beyond the amount that has been authorized through the issuance of written contracts.

The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and incidentals necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, and requirements. Section K shall be completed and returned with the final proposal.

Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Visit: A formal, scheduled site visit, along with a teleconference participation option will be held on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 10:00 am EDT. All interested parties are urged and expected to attend the scheduled site visit and/or teleconference. The teleconference will be held with the Contracting

Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer

Upon completion of the conference call, those who are in attendance on site will be provided a formal tour of the site with the COR. Contractors interested in attending the onsite tour shall meet at Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National

Historical Park (ABLI), Visitor

Center/Administration Building, 2995 Lincoln Farm

Road, Hodgenville, KY 42748 NLT 10:00 am EDT.

All contractors in attendance shall have a face mask with them, participate in the conference call via their cell phones and stay in the parking area with social distancing in practice.

Upon completion of the conference call the COR will come out to start the formal tour of the site. All interested contractors shall RSVP to participate in the available site visit and/or conference call NLT 2:00 pm EDT on Friday, August

7, 2020. RSVPs will be received at laurie_sherrod@nps.gov. Upon receipt of the RSVP the conference call number and passcode will be provided. If no RSVPs are received by 2:00 pm

EDT on Friday, August 7, 2020, the formal scheduled site visit will be CANCELLED and the conference call will NOT be activated.

The specifications and drawings provide a detailed description of the required work.

Please provide all questions to laurie_sherrod@nps.gov NLT 12:00 pm EDT on

Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Once all questions have been submitted an amendment will be posted to provie each interested contractor with the conference call agenda and sign-in sheet and all questions and answers provided. If no amendment is posted by 3:00 pm EDT on Friday, August 14, 2020 this indicates no RSVPs or questions were received.

Proceed (NTP) will be provided. In order for the

NTP to be provided the following items shall be provided for review and/or approval:
