STATEMENT OF WORK
For new
Reservoir Pipeline Flow Meters At The
Dworshak NFH 10/10/2023
1. GENERAL
Dworshak National Fish Hatchery (DNFH) is in need of new flowmeters on our Primary, Secondary, and blended primary/secondary Reservoir pipelines. The old flowmeters no longer work and are not serviceable. DNFH is requesting these non-working flow meters be replaced with updated and current technology flow meters. The original failed flowmeters were custom built to fit inside of the pipe vault and cannot be removed as they will not fit out of the vault opening. These vaults are underground and are confined space where special permits are required to enter the area. DNFH would like to go with a new external fitting flowmeters and sonars, because we are unable to shut down these pipelines for a prolonged period of time due to the hatcheries constant need of reservoir water. DNFH is requesting the new flow meters have a remote style readout/display so no employees will need to enter a confined space to read and record flow readings in the future.
This is a supply and technical support only contract. Installation will be performed by the hatchery maintenance crew.
