STATEMENT OF WORK (2014 11 18)
Construction
Livingston Stone NFH Mobile Charcoal Filtration Rental System
PR Number: 40616181
Instructions: Complete all Bold Elements below and mark N/A for elements that are not applicable and delete sub elements. This will ensure that each element is considered.
1. General:
Due to Thiamine Deficiency Complex (TDC), the endangered Sacramento River winter Chinook salmon adults returning this year face unprecedent negative conditions (guaranteed mortality of offspring if TDC is present and untreated in adults). In order to preserve the species for another year, Federal and State Fishery Agencies have requested that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service- Livingston Stone NFH to collect 4x the normal number of winter Chinook salmon adults this year. The hatchery has already started to increase collections efforts and will continue through July. To maximize and retain as many adult salmon as the hatchery can, the hatchery will need to treat the fish with malachite green twice a week in order to prevent fungus infection and outbreaks from occurring. In order to successfully pull this off, the Livingston Stone NFH will need to double the current filtration capacity.
2. Place of Performance and Period of Performance (Where and When) the project is being completed.
Livingston Stone NFH 16349 Shasta Dam Blvd.
Shasta Lake, CA 96019
**Note: The hatchery is located inside a secured facility which is closed to the general public.

7. Evaluation and Acceptance
Work will be completed in accordance with the above scope, and all applicable Shasta County Building Codes. Inspection and acceptance of the work will be performed by the technical coordinator.
