Salient Characteristics Semi-Permanent and Mobile Dock Ramps

56 LRS/LGRDDC

June 27, 2023

1. Overview

• The purpose of this procurement is to acquire one (1) Dockzilla Semi-Permanent

Dock Ramp and one (1) Dockzilla Mobile Dock Ramp to support 56th Fighter Wing. This is a brand name or equal requirement, and any proposal meets the characteristics listed in Section 2 will be considered.

2. Characteristics

One (1) Semi-Permanent Dock Ramp

• Dock Ramp Dimensions: 40’ long x 10’ wide (120” between curbs)

• 60,000 pound capacity

• Ramp surface is open grading that is replaceable

• Hinged deck to service trailers from 34” to 54” off grade

• Hydraulically adjustable ramp with solar powered adjustment

• Steel adjustable legs (with ability to manually adjust up/down)

• Push and hold to raise – gravity down

• Mechanical 72” wide edge of dock leveler

• Outer 48” flush on both sides of leveler to allow extra width equipment to drive across

• Yellow handrails and base plates

• Removable handrails above 30” of elevation

• Set of wheel chocks

• Anchors

Note: Contractor will need to deliver/assemble the dock and verify operability within 3 months after contract award. 5-year structural warranty on the dock and 1-year warranty on associated parts and labors are required.

One (1) Mobile Dock Ramp

• Dock Ramp Dimensions: 32’ long x 12’ wide

• 85,000 pound capacity

• Deck length 2’

• Ramp length 30’

• Overall width 142” (with 138” clear usable ramp between side curbs)

• Hydraulically adjustable ramp with solar powered adjustment

• Front safety support legs – spring loaded up and adjustable

• Adjustable support legs with service range of 36” to 56” dock height (with ability to manually adjust up/down)

• Includes integral 72” wide edge dock leveler

• Outer 66” flush on both sides of leveler to allow extra width equipment to drive across

• Automatic wheel engagement with no manual pumping required

• 23’ solid rubber tires

• Kingpin ramp at base of ramp (for safety)

• Removable handrails above 30”

• Wheel chocks

Note: Contractor will need to deliver/assemble the dock and verify operability within 3 months after contract award. 5-year structural warranty on the dock and 1-year warranty on associated parts and labors are required.

3. General

• The Vendor shall furnish all materials, equipment, and personnel necessary to manage and accomplish the project within the scope of the performance period.

No alterations, additions, or deletions shall be made unless prior written approval is given by the Contracting Officer.
