Amendment 001 – Government Response to Technical Questions
Hyperspectral Imaging System
SB1341-16-RQ-0250
Q1: 3a. the spec is: “spectral resolution of 4nm or better”. Question: is this an average over the range 400-1000nm or an upper limit?
This is an upper limit for any wavelength within this range.
Q2: 3f. the spec is: “frame rate of at least 6fps full resolution at full binning”. Question: does this mean 6 fully 3D datacubes per second or 6fps for the 2D images to be built up into the datacubes?
6 fps for the 2D images to be built up into the datacubes.
Q3: 4a. the spec is: “spectral resolution of 5nm or better”. Question: is this an average over the range 900-1700nm or an upper limit?
This is an upper limit for this range.
Q4: Is there a specification for frame rate or datacube rate?
No
Q5: 7. for the optical camera, shall we assume that this is a normal digital camera with no minimum frame rate?
A digital optical camera that would satisfy requirements 7e and 7f.
Q6: In what format (e.g. ENVI-compatible BSQ?) should the hyperspectral data be recorded?
The burden of proof remains on the contractor to verify that all 9a to 9f requirements are covered with either one of these software tools.
Q7: Was there a Request for Information (RFI) posted?
No.
Note: The submission deadline remains unchanged as a result of this amendment.
