About this file
This is a Statement of Work for NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) procuring analytical laboratory instrumentation and installation services.
KSC requires the purchase of one VICI Tras Gas Analyzer (OEM Part # T8442W-7T-PP1He) with External Deoxo Provision and one Valco Instruments TGA Install Service. The VICI analyzer is a complete chromatographic unit housed in a 7U chassis with a model 8000 Interface and control system configured for 110 VAC operation. The instrument features dual PDHID Pulsed Discharge Helium Ionization detectors, distributed control between an embedded PC and programmable logic controller, touch screen interface, and Data Apex Clarity chromatographic data acquisition software. The system includes a helium purifier, out-of-box methods for balance gases, and rear panel bulkhead fittings configured for optional external Deoxo trapping apparatus between the injector and precolumn. The analyzer includes methods for helium, hydrogen, argon, and nitrogen bulk gases. The installation service includes up to 2 days of onsite setup, training, and instruction (including 1 day travel), with the customer option to train in Houston, Texas during Factory Acceptance Testing at no additional cost. Additional installation time is billed at $250.00 per hour in 4-hour increments, with installation scheduled a minimum of 3 weeks in advance after delivery and confirmation of onsite utilities. Performance of work will take place at NASA Kennedy Space Center, BOSS Receiving, Kennedy Space Center, Florida 32899, with a period of performance of 20 weeks from receipt of order.
