About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for cryogenic accelerometers to support NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) rotating detonation rocket engine development and test program for the InRoDES turbopump.

The vendor shall provide 12 cryogenic accelerometers with isolated configurations and 10-32 mounting studs rated for operational temperatures from -452°F to +350°F. Additionally, the contractor must supply 12 remote charge converter TEDS electronics units with a gain rating of 1mV/pC and 12 low noise coaxial cables with PTFE jackets that are electrically insulated, each measuring 120 inches in length with 10-32 plug fittings on both ends. The vendor is required to notify NASA of any deviations or nonconformances, provide MSFC with a final Build report, and supply powder lot numbers with full traceability documentation. The Period of Performance extends from July 2026 through December 2026. All deliverables and process development samples must be shipped or hand delivered to Marshall Space Flight Center, Central Receiving, Building 4631, Huntsville, AL 35812. Required deliverables include the parts built under the SOW and a report documenting any deviations or nonconformances.

Cryogenic Accelerometers

Statement of Work (SOW)

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), specifically Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) has a need for durable cryogenic high speed accelerometers. These robust instruments are necessary for test hardware for the turbopump for InRoDES in house rotating detonation rocket engine development and test program.

SOW is as follows.

1. The vendor shall provide Qty. 12 cryogenic accelerometer with isolated confiigurations, 10-32 mounting stud with operational ranges from -452 F to +350 F for cryogenic compatible applications.

2. The vendor shall Qty. 12 remote charge converter TEDS electronics with a Gain rated at 1mV/pC.

3. The vendor shall provide Qty. 12 low noise coaxial cables with PTFE jacket that is electrically insulated. The cable lengths must be 120 inches each with 10-32 plug fittings on both ends.

4. Vendor shall notify NASA if deviation or nonconformance occurs. Vendor shall provide MSFC with a final Build report. Vendor shall provide powder lot number(s) and traceability.

Period of Performance (POP) July, 2026 through December, 2026.

Shipping

1. Contractor shall ship or hand deliver all deliverables and process development samples to:

Marshall Space Flight Center Central Receiving, Bldg 4631

Huntsville, AL 35812

Deliverables

1. Parts built under SOW

2. Report on deviations/ non conformance
