About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity 80NSSC26934493Q regarding Capability Trunk Cable procurement. The document clarifies two key points raised by potential offerors regarding the solicitation requirements.
The first Q&A addresses a discrepancy in the Statement of Work (SOW) regarding installation requirements. The original SOW language stated "Purchase, deliver, and install" cables from authorized vendors/OEM within their contractual local territory of Stennis Space Center. The government clarified that installation is not required and that the solicitation contains only a typographical error; procurement of cables only is the actual requirement. The second Q&A addresses conductor color specifications, directing offerors to reference the SOW for complete details and confirming that each cable contains 8 sub-cables bundled together, with each bundle containing wires in the following colors: red, brown, yellow, orange, violet, gray, blue, and green.
