About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines NASA Glenn Research Center's requirements for manufacturing Plug25 Plug Sleeve Hardware using powder bed fusion manufacturing. The project involves producing five specific plug components (Sleeve Plug, Plug Base, Plug K9, Plug K7, and Plug K1B) in either 300 series Stainless Steel Alloy or Inconel 718, depending on size.
Key requirements include 100% dimensional inspection with documentation, weekly status updates with pictures, and delivery within 4-10 weeks after order receipt. The vendor must provide Mill Test Reports and Certificates of Conformance, perform powder bed fusion printing, machining, inspection/non-destructive testing, and surface treatments. Non-conforming parts will be evaluated for potential rework at the vendor's expense, and final acceptance will be confirmed via email by the NASA point of contact.

G. Inspections
100% Dimensional Inspection for all dimensions shown on drawings, with documentation is required for all manufactured items. Documentation shall be delivered with hardware.
H. Milestones
Weekly status updates with pictures are required.
I. Deliverables (list what NASA expects to have received at the conclusion of the task)
Upon conclusion of this task, NASA Glenn Research Center expects to receive the Plug25 Plug Sleeve Hardware. This hardware is to be delivered in 4-10 weeks after receipt of order as parts are completed.
J. Period-of-Performance
The hardware assembly being requested has a delivery date of 4-10 weeks after receipt of order as parts are completed.
K. Non-Conforming Parts
Non-Conforming parts will be evaluated by NASA Glenn Research Center for possible re-work or re-make or acceptance “as-is”. Parts determined to require re-work or re-make will be re-worked at the vendor’s expense including shipping from and to NASA Glenn Research Center.
L. Government Acceptance
NASA POC will send email (barry.l.wilson@nasa.gov) confirming receipt and acceptance.
