About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for an employee training program on Congressional operations and the new Congress, in support of a federal contract opportunity.
The SOW outlines two main requirements: 1) Delivery of a 2-day virtual training session (max 80 participants) on the Congressional process, responsibilities, and culture, and 2) Delivery of two 1-day virtual training sessions (max 100 participants each) on the political dynamics, legislative agenda, and budget implications resulting from the recent election and the new Congress.
The training will cover topics such as Congressional organization, the legislative process, committee structures, appropriations, and NASA-specific policy issues. The period of performance is flexible, with the new Congress sessions planned for February and April 2025. This training requirement is part of a larger federal contract opportunity with NASA's Shared Services Center, solicitation number 80NSSC24879636Q.
