About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) that describes the technical specifications and requirements for NASA Glenn Research Center's procurement of an Instron 68TM-50 table-mounted materials testing system with a 50kN force capacity. The SOW details the main components of the system, including the testing system, operator dashboard interface, 50kN wedge grips, and advanced video extensometer. It also outlines the vendor's responsibilities for system installation, integration, verification, and operator training, as well as the warranty and shipping requirements. The related federal contract opportunity is a sole source procurement for the Instron 68TM-50 system, with NASA/NSSC as the procuring center and performance to be located at NASA Glenn Research Center. The solicitation number is 80NSSC24878139Q, and the primary point of contact is Cody Guidry, Procurement Specialist.
