About this file

This is a federal certification form (FAR 52.225-2) that requires offerors to certify compliance with the Buy American Act for federal government contracts.

The form mandates that offerors certify all end products as domestic unless specifically listed otherwise. Offerors must identify any foreign end products manufactured in the United States that do not qualify as domestic end products, and for non-iron/non-steel foreign products, indicate whether they exceed 55 percent domestic content (except for commercially available off-the-shelf items). Additionally, offerors must separately list line item numbers for all domestic end products containing critical components as defined in FAR 25.105. The Government will evaluate offers according to the policies and procedures outlined in FAR Part 25. The form includes two tables: one for listing foreign end products with their country of origin and domestic content percentage, and another for listing domestic products containing critical components.
