About this file
Roofing Project Manual 2026 Waltham HA
This is a Roofing Project Manual prepared by the Waltham Housing Authority (WHA) in Massachusetts for trade services repairs and maintenance on public housing developments. The manual outlines specifications and requirements for roofing work to be performed on an as-needed, day-to-day basis across various WHA-owned and operated properties. The contract term is one year, with an estimated annual cost of $100,000 for labor and materials combined. The WHA is soliciting sealed bids from qualified trade service contractors to perform these repairs and maintenance activities in accordance with the project specifications and standards detailed in the manual and related contract documents.
The manual establishes the technical and procedural requirements that successful bidders must follow when executing roofing repairs and maintenance work for the WHA. Contractors should review all project specifications, supporting exhibits, and any addenda issued prior to bid submission to ensure full compliance with WHA standards. The contract represents ongoing maintenance operations rather than a single capital project, requiring contractors to maintain flexibility and responsiveness to address repair needs throughout the contract period at the various housing developments operated by the authority.
