RFQ 2026-096 CT Facility Wide Signage Summary

This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued by Community Transit in Washington State for the procurement of facility-wide signage across multiple transit properties. The project encompasses signage for Community Transit facilities, Park & Ride locations, Park & Pool facilities, and Transit Center parking lots. Vendors are invited to submit quotes for the design, fabrication, and installation of signage required across these locations. The contract is structured for one base year with four one-year option periods, allowing for a potential five-year engagement. Specific response deadlines, site visit opportunities, and any scheduled pre-bid meetings or bidder conferences should be referenced within the RFQ document for vendor participation requirements.

The RFQ establishes pricing terms that vendors must submit as part of their quotation response, with evaluation criteria and award procedures to be conducted by Community Transit. The document may include specifications regarding sign types, materials, installation standards, and maintenance requirements necessary to meet the agency's operational and safety needs across its transit network. Any incumbent contractor information, funding sources, budget allocations, and contract performance expectations are detailed within the RFQ terms. Vendors should review all technical specifications, attachment exhibits, and addenda issued prior to quote submission to ensure comprehensive and compliant proposals.

EXHIBIT B: CT Design Guidelines PRIMARY LOGOS: The horizontal logo is the master brand logo associated with our corporate identity.

The blue logo may be used over white and other lighter colored backgrounds that provide strong contrast values.

Use the white logo on darker colored backgrounds.

Use a blue logo over light colored backgrounds.

STACKED LOGO: Is an alternate version that can be used interchangeably with the primary logo. It was designed to be used whenever spacial requirements cause the primary logo to become too difficult to read.

ALTERANTE LOGO: The square logo is an alternate version that can be used interchangeably with the primary logo. It was designed to be used in small spaces of equal width and size that would make the primary versions too difficult to read.

LOGO COLOR OPTIONS: Steel, Cobalt, Classic, White. Only use color combinations that have passed ADA compliance tests.

Color Guidelines Primary and Secondary Color Usage The primary and secondary color options should be the dominant colors used within any design.

Colors within either of these sets of swatches can be used for background canvases to hold text and graphics. If colors from both sets of swatches are used together, the primary colors should take priority, and if appropriate, occupy a higher percentage of real estate over the secondary colors.

Secondary/Accent Color Usage Accent colors should be limited in use. They should not be used in large areas or as background canvases. Accent colors should be used for items that need to be called out for attention. Call-to-action buttons, alerts, offers, or anything of visual importance within the design we need to draw attention to is appropriate.

Font Guidelines The internet allows access to thousands of types of typefaces. However, not all typefaces reflect the preferred visual image of Community Transit. Our fonts have been carefully selected for optimum legibility, simplicity, and engagement in all our marketing and educational materials for both print and digital.

Primary fonts

Proxima Nova The Proxima Nova font family is the primary typeface for use on branded, professionally designed materials. Use this font whenever possible to maintain consistency across customer-facing materials. Follow font color recommendations below

Alternative fonts

Arial The Arial font family is an alternative typeface for use when access to Proxima Nova is not possible. It is the default typeface for use within the agency on non-branded, employee-facing documents, presentations, and other material
