STATEMENT OF WORK
Title: Gamma Portal Monitor Requesting Laboratory: National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) Center for Neutron Research (NCNR)
I. BACKGROUND
Persons leaving specific areas of the NCNR need to be monitored for radioactive material. This is performed by placing gamma portal monitors at the facility exits and requiring persons to use these when leaving the area. The NCNR currently has 7 of these gamma portal monitors, some of which are 30 years old.
This purchase is to replace some of the current monitors.
Purpose/Description: This requirement is to purchase up to three (3) gamma portal monitors to replace existing monitors.
II. SCOPE
The Contractor shall deliver a quantity of up to three (3) gamma portal monitors, inclusive of a 12-month warranty and FOB Destination Delivery Terms.
III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
The Contactor shall submit a firm fixed-price quotation for each line item identified below. The Contractor shall provide a system that meets salient characteristic identified below. All items must be new. Used or remanufactured equipment will not be considered for award. Experimental, prototype, or custom items will not be considered. The use of “gray market” components not authorized for sale in the U.S. by the Contractor is not acceptable. All line items shall be shipped in the original manufacturer’s packaging and include all original documentation and software, when applicable.
All Line Items are for the exact Gamma Portal Monitor. As such, the technical requirements are the same for each line item.
Line Item 0001:
Description: Whole Body Gamma Portal Contamination Monitor Quantity: One (1)
Line Item 0002: OPTION LINE ITEM Description: Whole Body Gamma Portal Contamination Monitor Quantity: Two (2)
